4WD Adventures

It’s not just about the 4WD vehicle that you drive, but about the skills that you gain, the lifestyle that you enjoy, the trips you undertake, the people and places you encounter, the friends you make, the stories you can share and the memories you can keep.

Driver Awareness Day/Weekend

Our driver awareness trips are designed to elevate your knowledge, skills, and confidence behind the wheel of your AWD or 4WD vehicle. These member-only weekend adventures provide hands-on experience in a supportive environment, guided by experienced club members passionate about sharing their expertise. Whether you’re new to off-road driving or looking to refine your techniques, there’s something valuable for everyone.

You’ll learn and practise essential skills including vehicle recovery techniques as per the ‘Hierarchy Of Recovery’, terrain assessment, navigation, safe hill driving, and low-range fundamentals (where available). All of this takes place in real-world conditions with fellow enthusiasts, allowing you to build confidence at your own pace while adhering to responsible driving ethics.

Beyond the learning, these trips offer a chance to connect with like-minded adventurers and build friendships. It’s education and community rolled into one exciting weekend, a standout benefit of club membership.
